BSL is cruel and absolutely not effective to protect animals or humans. This needs to be changed. While humans kill millions of animals and humans alike everyday, the ones paying for crimes mostly even not being committed by them are innocent dogs. Humans are the ones who should pay a heavy price for the horrible actions they are inflicting onto animals, other humans and our planet. So let us start fixing things by killing BSL worldwide, not only in the US.
If you live in or around one of the below cities, please make every effort to attend the city council meetings this week. Many people have been working extremely hard to either repeal current breed specific ordinances, or stop the passage of BSL, and your support and encouragement would be very much appreciated and really give them a big push.

In Parma, Ohio, a grassroots group is lobbying the city council to repeal its ban on pit bulls, enacted in 1987, in favor of breed-neutral dog regulations that place responsibility on reckless owners. Under 618.09 of the city’s code, the owning, harboring, or keeping of a pit bull within the Parma city limits is prohibited.
